In my personal oppinion It seemed to me a good history and I liked it, specially the final battle, that hides the ending of the book. I also amused the historical context, because I really like history and this book took a little of the USA history.
But when you are starting to read it, it´s a bit difficult to follow the history, because there are a lot of characters in a few pages and you are all the time going to the first page to know who is Hawk-eye, Chingachgook... and it´s really annoying because I didn´t understand the history at first, but when you get the characters it´s funny and sometimes the book gripped me, sometimes.
Finally I have to say that I think it´s a great book but it isn´t the best book of my life, just one more.
