CHAPTER 5 - THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS

CHAPTER 5
The French Army surrounded Fort William and after a few days, French and British signed a truce and stopped fighting for a while, because one day, Heyward was walking near the Fort when he saw a French figure with Hawk-eye as prisoner. He told it to Munro and they went to talk with the French general, but suddenly, he open his pocket and open a letter, the letter said that it couldn´t be possible to send  troops to Fort William, and it was signed by general Webb. Finally, British had to leave the Fort. When they were in the way to leave, Magua appeared and took Alice´s body to the forest; he was followed by Cora and Gamut.

VOCABULARY 

-  Faint: Tenue.
              We herad a faint sound

-Truce: Tregua.
             The warriors give them a truce

-Siege: Cercado, amurallado.

            The town is under siege.
